Numerical and Ethnic Composition of the Population of Odessa Region (On the Materials of the Population Censuses of 1989 and 2001)
Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of changes in the number and ethnic composition of thepopulation of Odessa region at the turn of the 20th - 21st century. Was considered the level of ethnicdiversity of the region's population, peculiarities of the territorial location of Ukrainians and otherrepresentatives of the main ethnic minorities. Was determined the amount of Ukrainians and otherethnic minorities groups in the general ethnic structure of the population of Odessa region.
