The Main Spatial Economic Models
Abstract
History of regional science begins with early twentieth century German school representatives spatial economy - von Thunen, Weber, Christaller, Losch, to which, they were added -especially in the postwar period - American regionalists brand belonging to school, Dutch, Scandinavian, French , German, Russian, etc. Outlining clear as science in the 50s and rise to the international scientific community today is due in good measure, to the "International Association of Specialists in Regional Science", founded in 1954, with the aim to promote exchange of ideas, points of view about broad issues in this area.
