The strategic choices of small medium-sized enterprises integration: evidence from specific economic territory

Abstract


Abstract: The emergence of SMEs was conditioned by institutional and economic factors. These factors, as well as other internal promoted the integration of strategic thinking within this type of business, by adopting suitable strategies. Indeed, our research objective is to determine the extent of adoption of the approach and the strategic decision by the Algerian SMEs, and highlight the characteristics of its strategies through a survey on a sample of SMEs located in the West of the Algeria. The analysis of this empirical study will be preceded by a theoretical overview that aims to show the different concepts of business strategy, and more specifically those of the SMEs, and then to identify the specifics of strategic management within the SME and finally determine the different strategic options available to the SMEs.
