World Model in the European Gothic Novel and Regional Context

Abstract


The article deals with a specificity of the world model in the European Gothic novel and its regional context. The model of the world and the concept of a person are considered as the basic criteria of modern humanitarian knowledge. The object of study is presented by the novels of Charlotte Bronte “Jane Eyre”, Abraham «Bram» Stoker “Dracula” and others.
