Construcţia şi reconstrucţia unei imagini: Mihai Eminescu
Abstract
The cultural identity of a people does by no means stand for a whole lot of historical data, yet it is built and rebuilt according to civilisation values, the common denominator of such operations being the references to aesthetically recognized truths. The poet Mihai Eminescu turned up on the literary scene in a moment when Romanian literature aimed at a cultural European destiny - the consequence of almost a century-old synchronising - yet without being turned to account, the ethnicity element being subject to obvios political connotations.
