Abstract

This paper will examine how the firms can be financed through capital market. So, at first it will be analyzed the conditions which are required to a company to be listed on stock exchange. Then will be identified which are the advantages and the disadvantages of listing companies on the stock exchange. What this paper wants to see is if this type of arrangement is beneficial to the firms, especially in the current context, of the financial crisis, when many stock exchanges have collapsed, and what are that main problems that the companies face when they want to finance their activity trough the capital market.
