Abstract

The purpose of this article is to emphasize the international dimension of V. A. Urechia’s activity using the new sources represented by his correspondence preserved at the Library of The Romanian Academy with some representative personalities of the time that activated in the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.  This approach will focus on the objectives, actions and results of this activity and also on the image that this politician and historian created for his country and for himself at the level of this organization.
