Abstract


The author points out the indisputable presence of the Romanians in Europe and gives arguments along the article that sustains his affirmation;  a brief foray through the history of the Romanian people is sufficient to bring into light the testimonies of the Romanian historical events analyzed in the chronicles from abroad; the fight of the Romanians for the formation of a National Romanian State was often encouraged by foreign personalities who have recognized Romania as a European country and have appreciated the participation of the Romanians in the political problems of other countries, the permanent cooperation with neighbors which is also incontestable, the receptivity of the problems from Europe, the role of shield between east and west, Romania's contribution to enriching the cultural heritage scientifically and culturally. In all the domains there is a clear evidence of the Romanian’s presence in Europe.
