Abstract
The article is about the theoretical aspects of one of the most important reforms in Ukraine – the decentralization of the education. The reform introduces the standards of the secondary education in Ukraine, based on the acquisition of basic knowledge of basic subjects and acquisition of professional skills. Everything has to be done, according to the gained experience. In the conditions of decentralization in the Ukrainian Danube area, as in the polytechnic area, a big role in the implementation of this reform belongs to the local self-government, which should ensure the receipt of quality education.
