Dynamic capabilities and competitive advantage: an analysis of the nigerian banking sector

Abstract


This research work examines the relationship between dynamic capabilities and competitive advantage. The population consists of 250 staff of First Bank of Nigeria Plc while the sample size was 137 staff of the bank. Using a descriptive research design, the study adopted a questionaire as a reliable instrument to generate primary data on the opinions of the respondents on the research questions. The result reveals that there is a weak negative relationship between dynamic capabilities and competitive advantage. The management implications were also discussed.
