The Influence of the Romanian Language on the Grammar of the Ukrainian South-Bessarabia Dialects

Abstract


The article deals with a problem of the interference of the Romanian language on the grammar of the Ukrainian dialects of new formation spread in the multi-lingual and multi-dialectal area between the Danube and the Dniester rivers. The author establishes its character and classifies the results of interfering processes in the area. It is underlined that the research of the Ukrainian dialects in this continuum needs to be taken into account coordination with investigation of other languages in this region.
