Abstract

Taking into consideration the entry into force of the new Criminal Code, whereas the new element it is incriminated also the offense of leaving the scene of the accident, modification or removing trails, within this paper we have examined its constitutive content, according to the new regulations. The paper continues other studies in this area and it can be useful to law students, academics and anyone who wants to improve their knowledge in this area. The innovations consist of examining the subjective and the objective side of this offense, with reference to some implications in terms of providing assistance in criminal matters, where the offense is committed by a Romanian citizen in another Member State of the European Union.
