Perspectives of European Educational Integration in the Countries of Danube Region

Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of contemporary problems of education in the Danube countries in the context of implementing the Bologna initiatives. The particular attention is paid to concretizing the main goals and ideas of the European educational policy in the context of the main articles of the Maastricht Treaty as the conceptual vectors for the modernization of the national education systems of the Danube countries. The problems and strategic vectors that contribute to the successful modernization of the education sphere in the region are identified, taking into account its multicultural features and capabilities. Discussed problems that require further scientific and pedagogical research are highlighted.
