Abstract
The article deals with the Romanian borrowings in the Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Russian, Gagauz dialects spread between the Danube and the Dniester rivers – multi-lingual area on the South of Odessa region. The author proves that a lot of Romanian lexical borrowings in these dialects are a
distinguishing feature of their language systems. The majority of these lexemes exactly appeared on this territory as a result of a
long-term influence of Romanian language.
