NGOs of Bessarabian Bulgarians and their Activities in Social-Cultural Sphere

Abstract


The article deals with the activities of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), created by Bulgarian ethnic communities after the collapse of the USSR. Independent Ukraine has created favorable conditions for the activities of Bulgarian national communities in the region, which cultural actions include the revival of national traditions, support for the national language, cultural and educational work on the nationalization of historical memory.
