Abstract

The paper analyzesthe institution of judicial assistants in the context of the current Romanianlegislation and the specialty legal literature.The presentation ofdoctrinal views on the need for reform of this institution, the examples fromcomparative law systems (German, English, French), the conclusions of our ownstudy carried out by means of sociological inquiry, whose subjects werespecialists actually involved in the process of solving individual laborconflicts, represented the necessary support for the formulation of suggestionsof a ferend law meant to improve and streamline its operation.The formulatedproposals may provide the legislator support in the course of perfecting, atthe level of regulation, of the process of specialization of labor jurisdictionin the Romanian legal system.
